Welcome to Elmira, home of the Sugar Kings Jr.B Hockey Club! A town steeped in hockey tradition with 37 years of Jr.B excellence and a future that continues to shine.
The Kings have graduated many players on to higher levels of hockey and currently boast one of the best records for U.S. College Scholarship Grads. Over the past 5 years an average of 5 players per year have graduated to U.S. College teams. Derek Hahn, Rob Collins, Brandon Dietrich, Brent Walton, Jeff Van Nynatten, Barret Ehgoetz and Jeremy Machin to name a few.
Home town hockey has become the club's mantra ~ many of our players are graduates of the Woolwich Minor Hockey system. From the Board Room to the Bench Staff you will find former Kings, continuing to be a part of the club even after their playing years are done.
Having a Jr.B Hockey Club in town allows our young players the opportunity to advance their hockey careers right in their own back yards! The continued support of the local business community makes it financially possible and the outstanding dedication of fans keeps us strong!
The King's Organization is proud to call Elmira home and strives to do the town proud each and every time we hit the ice! Thanks Elmira we're looking forward to another exciting season of Jr.B hockey in the 'little hockey town that could'!
